Twebst Automation Studio Lite Edition Redistributable License Agreement
The enclosed software that includes sample programs, libraries and documentation (hereinafter the "LIBRARY") is licensed, not sold, to CUSTOMER, its successors, or assigns by Codecentrix for use only under the terms of this License, and Codecentrix reserves any rights not expressly granted to CUSTOMER. CUSTOMER owns the media on which the LIBRARY is recorded or fixed, but Codecentrix retains ownership of the LIBRARY itself.
1. License Agreement
Codecentrix grants to CUSTOMER the license that allows CUSTOMER to use the component on any number of products.
CUSTOMER is not required to pay any royalty fees for the LIBRARY.
Under the terms of this license CUSTOMER may:
1.1. Embed the LIBRARY into any number of products. CUSTOMER is allowed to create software products that incorporate the LIBRARY and to deploy such products including the LIBRARY to an unlimited number of computers. The products created by CUSTOMER should considerably enhance the functionality of the LIBRARY. CUSTOMER and/or any persons or companies related in any way to CUSTOMER are NOT allowed to create, deploy freely or sell a similar LIBRARY that offers support for web automation with the LIBRARY. CUSTOMER doesn't have the right to sell or offer the LIBRARY for free to third parties as a standalone component. CUSTOMER will not provide the LIBRARY to any third party for LIBRARY use in their products directly.
1.2. Make an unlimited number of copies provided that such copies shall be used only in the scope of work of CUSTOMER.
1.3. Use and modify the Examples, provided that such copies shall be used only in the scope of work of CUSTOMER.
1.4. Redistribute exact copies of the LIBRARY along with CUSTOMER products provided that CUSTOMER makes no modifications to the software, documentation or the installation package, and makes no misrepresentations about the origins of the product, its author or its use. The LIBRARY is "in use" when CUSTOMER develops any source code depended on the LIBRARY and links your projects to the libraries (original or modified).
CUSTOMER shall not:
A. Redistribute the LIBRARY as part of another development LIBRARY without a written permission from Codecentrix.
B. CUSTOMER may not lend, give, rent, lease, sub-license and transfer the registered LIBRARY and related materials to other parties without a written permission from Codecentrix.
2. COPYRIGHT
The LIBRARY is owned by Codecentrix and is protected by International copyright laws and treaty provisions.
3. LIMITED WARRANTY/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
This LIBRARY is licensed "AS IS". If for any reason CUSTOMER is dissatisfied with the LIBRARY, remove it from your computer system and destroy all copies of it. These warranties are in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will Codecentrix be liable to CUSTOMER for damages, including any loss of profits, lost savings, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the LIBRARY, even if Codecentrix has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
4. INDEMNIFICATION
By installing and using the LIBRARY, CUSTOMER hereby agrees to save and hold harmless Codecentrix from any loss, direct or consequential damage, or claim incurred by CUSTOMER resulting from reliance upon the results obtained through the use of the LIBRARY.
